  • Are your products in stock?

    Unlike many other online flooring retailers most of our products are available in stock and ready for next day dispatch. If you wish to order a large quantity of a particular product please contact us to ensure we have your required number in stock.

  • How secure is online payment?

    At Carpet Runners UK we are very security conscious and so we use strong SSL encryption on any pages where you enter your personal details. You may pay online or by phone using either your PayPal account, or any of the credit and debit cards shown on the top right of our website. Online credit card and debit card payments are handled by Sagepay and our merchant acquiring bank Streamline (NatWest). Together they provide a secure internet payment system for both credit and debit card payment. All payment information is securely encrypted using state of the art SSL encryption (see below for details).

  • What is SSL and how does it protect my privacy?

    The SSL protocol in use on this site is the Web standard for encrypting communications between users and SSL (secure sockets layer) e-commerce sites. Data sent via an SSL connection is protected by encryption, a mechanism that prevents eavesdropping and tampering with any transmitted data. SSL provides businesses and consumers with the confidence that private data sent to a Web site, such as credit card numbers, are kept confidential.

  • How long does delivery take?

    We have 3 types of delivery service. Standard Delivery (2 - 4 working days), Express Delivery (Select your date / Next day), Saturday Delivery (Before 1pm).

    We dispatch items Monday – Friday (excluding Public and Bank Holidays).

    We cannot give a precise time for a normal delivery but deliveries are made between 08:00am and 16:00pm. We have other delivery options that offer a more precised delivery service. Please call our customer care team on 0800 0778896 should you require a precised delivery slot.

    Items ordered before 9:00am will be dispatched the same day. Products ordered after 9:00am will be dispatched the next working day unless a next day delivery service is paid for in which case the cut off point for same day dispatch is 1pm.

    * We endeavour to ensure that all prodcuts are delivered in the time frame stated; however as we dispatch using a third party courier, occasionally items may be delayed without our knowledge. If there is a problem with your delivery please get in contact with us as soon as possible and we will follow it up for you.

  • How will my rug be delivered?

    All of our products products are dispatched using a trust worthy, reliable courier. They provide a high quality 24-hour service; all parcels are signed for giving you peace of mind that your product will not end up in someone else’s hands. We can provide a tracking number upon request after the order has been dispatched.

  • Can you tell me what time my rug(s) will be delivered?

    As we use a third party courier company we cannot provide you with an exact delivery time. Deliveries are made between the hours of 08:00am and 16:00pm. We can provide you with a tracking number and details so that you can track your order.

  • Can I track my order?

    YES! You will be able to track your parcel by logging into 'My Account'. We will also email you the tracking details once the item has been dispatched and in the hands of the couriers.

    If you cannot locate the tracking details then all you have to do is contact us and we will give you the tracking information and guide you through the tracking process.

  • Do you have a returns policy?

    Great News! We offer a Free Returns Service.........

    If you inform us within 48hrs of receiving the product then you will qualify for our free returns service.

    Simply call us on 0800 0778896 or email us at to make us aware of your intentions. We shall then arrange a suitable collection day for you. All you need to do is be at home on the day of collection or leave the parcel outside your house in a safe area and let us know where it is. Refunds are typically processed within 5 days of receiving the product back.

    Any delivery fees that have been paid when ordering the product are unfortunately non refundable.

    Only one free attempt will be made to collect the item. If the collection is missed due to the product not being available. then any further collection attempts will cost £15 a time. This will be deducted off the amount to be refunded.

    Our free returns service is only available to addresses located in UK Mainland (Excluding Highlands, Islands & Northern Ireland)


    Not informed us within 48hrs of your return.......

    Don't worry, you can still return your product. However, unfortunately you do not qualify for our Free Returns/Exchange Service. Please follow the instructions and send the item back to the address below..........

    • Please return the item to us within 30 days of taking delivery of the product.
    • Send the product back to us in an unused condition and in its original packaging.
    • Enclose your invoice in the package with instructions to either refund or exchange.
    • It is the responsibility of the customer to meet the carriage payment on items returned.
    • We advise you obtain proof of postage and ensure goods are adequately insured during any return journey.
    • If you return an item that is damaged, we shall either replace the product or issue a refund at your request.
    • If the reason for the return is in any way our fault, we shall refund all postage costs occurred.
    • Whilst every effort is made during photography processes, to accurately reproduce colours we do not accept any responsibility for the payment of returning items if there has been a misrepresentation of colour.
    • This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

    Alternatively we can arrange the collection for you but at a cost of £15 and then deduct this amount from your refund. Please note, only one collection attempt will be made for £15. So if the collection is missed then you will still be charged £15.     Customised Products...........

    Any products that have been customised at the customers request are non refundable. This is due to the fact that we wouldn't be able to sell this product in our clearance section as it would not be suitable for anyone else's needs.

  • How accurate are the colours?

    We are constantly reviewing and improving pictures to ensure they are as accurate as possible but there are too many variables for us to be able to guarantee that all runners will be exactly the same colour as depicted on your screen. If you would like to confirm the colour of a runner, you can order a sample from the product page. To do so, select "Full Width Sample/Door Mat" from the length drop down on the product page.

  • What are the quality of your items like?

    Carpet Runners UK deals only with reputable manufacturers and importers and so whether you are purchasing one of our budget products or our superior quality products you can be assured that they have been made to a high quality standard. As with all goods available for purchase, quality varies with price and so it follows that more expensive items will generally be manufactured to a higher quality due to the use of better materials and more dense piles. Please contact us if you would like any further details regarding the quality of a particular runner or rug. We will happily send out free samples should you be unsure prior to purchase.

  • How do I care for my rug?

    Regular vacuuming and general cleaning on a periodic basis will help to ensure that your item looks good for as long as possible
